    Mark Klotzbach, Sr.


    Mark holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and served in the United States Army. Mark has 32 years of experience in the demolition, construction and environmental remediation industry. He has developed and managed global demolition and remediation programs since 1980, completing projects for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Mark specializes in plant and selective demolition, dismantlement and decommissioning projects, involving the remediation of regulated and hazardous materials, including asbestos abatement. All phases of Stryker DES project management are facilitated by Mark.

    Mark Klotzbach, Jr.

    Vice President

    Mark holds a degree in Business Administration/Finance from The College of Charleston. He spent six years working in the financial capital markets in New York. Mark works throughout Stryker DES's operation.

    Joe Eichler

    Director of Business Development

    Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from DeSales University and has over 30 years of experience in the environmental management industry. His work experience includes decommissioning and asset recovery, site remediation, and waste reclamation & management. His roles varied from project director, project manager, site project administrator, and business development.

    Brian Hornyak

    Manager – Client Planning & Development

    Brian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety & Environmental Management from Slippery Rock University and a MBA from Waynesburg University. He has served various roles in private industry, consulting, and contracting and has worked with Fortune 100 companies dealing with their environmental, decommissioning, and demolition projects. Brian currently serves on the Board for the National Demolition Association and has been a presenter at the World Demolition Summit. Brian’s education and experience in safety is a strong foundation of his current role at Stryker. His role includes assisting clients with risk identification, planning, business development, remedial design, and program management.

    David Pino

    Operations Manager

    Dave has over 20 years or diverse experience in various market sectors such as oil & gas, chemicals, transportation and scrap recycling. Dave holds a holds a degree in Business Administration from Marist College. He is a Certified Manager of Investment Recovery (CMIR), is designated as a Person in Charge (PIC) under the United States Coast Guard, and maintains other training and designation within our industry. As Operation Manager, Dave is responsible for the mobilization and demobilization of projects. This includes the transportation and logistics of heavy equipment, mobile equipment and personnel.

    Greg Klotzbach, CSP, CHST

    Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

    Greg is a BCSP Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). He holds a business degree from Fordham University. Greg works throughout Stryker DES's multi-state operation to ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance. He oversees Stryker DES corporate EHS policy, employee training, project safety documentation and jobsite safety auditing.

    Josh Pickens

    Project Manager / Estimator

    Josh has over 20 years of experience in various market sectors ranging from residential and commercial construction to heavy industrial demolition. Josh is a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a Maintenance Data Analyst. Josh’s military analytical expertise as well as his demolition and construction experience have contributed to his success in project management. He has successfully managed high-profile high-value projects for key clients within the energy, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors across the United States. As a Project Manager / Estimator for Stryker DES, Josh assists with work proposals and oversees awarded projects to ensure safe and successful completion.

    Jay McCarty

    Senior Superintendent

    Jay has 30 years of experience in the demolition and environmental remediation industries, including asbestos, lead and mold abatement projects. Jay has worked with Mark Klotzbach, Sr. for more than 25 years. He manages project operational functions for Stryker DES, including: day-to-day work oversight, on-site job safety, regulatory compliance and project scheduling progression.

    Chris White

    Senior Superintendent

    Chris has over 20 years of experience in the asbestos abatement, demolition and environmental remediation industries, including lead and mold abatement projects. He manages project operational functions for Stryker DES, including: day-to-day work oversight, on-site job safety, regulatory compliance and project scheduling progression.

Our onsite processes and controls are continually monitored to ensure compliance with local, state and federal agency regulations. Associate safety training and certification is provided upon hire and continues throughout employment with Stryker DES. Our site specific Health and Safety (HASP) and Work Plans are reinforced in daily morning safety meetings.
