The management team of Stryker DES has a combined 120 years of industry-leading experience across a broad spectrum of complex projects, including the handling and screening of forensic material from the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center and the demolition of rocket launch platforms at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

    Mark Klotzbach, Sr.

    President

    Mark holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and served in the United States Army. Mark has 32 years of experience in the demolition, construction and environmental remediation industry. He has developed and managed global demolition and remediation programs since 1980, completing projects for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Mark specializes in plant and selective demolition, dismantlement and decommissioning projects, involving the remediation of regulated and hazardous materials, including asbestos abatement. All phases of Stryker DES project management are facilitated by Mark.

    Mark Klotzbach, Jr.

    Vice President

    Mark holds a degree in Business Administration/Finance from The College of Charleston. He spent six years working in the financial capital markets in New York. Mark works throughout Stryker DES's operation.

    Joe Eichler

    Director of Business Development

    Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from DeSales University and has over 30 years of experience in the environmental management industry. His work experience includes decommissioning and asset recovery, site remediation, and waste reclamation & management. His roles varied from project director, project manager, site project administrator, and business development.

    Greg Klotzbach, CSP, CHST

    Environmental, Health & Safety Director

    Greg is a BCSP Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). He holds a business degree from Fordham University. Greg works throughout Stryker DES's multi-state operation to ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance. He oversees Stryker DES corporate EHS policy, employee training, project safety documentation and jobsite safety auditing.

    Jay has 30 years of experience in the demolition and environmental remediation industries, including asbestos, lead and mold abatement projects. Jay has worked with Mark Klotzbach, Sr. for more than 25 years. He manages project operational functions for Stryker DES, including: day-to-day work oversight, on-site job safety, regulatory compliance and project scheduling progression.

    Senior Superintendent

    Chris has over 20 years of experience in the asbestos abatement, demolition and environmental remediation industries, including lead and mold abatement projects. He manages project operational functions for Stryker DES, including: day-to-day work oversight, on-site job safety, regulatory compliance and project scheduling progression.

    Stryker DES is committed to providing and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for all. The health and safety of our clients, the general public and our associates is core to our operation. Our onsite processes and controls are continually monitored to ensure compliance with local, state and federal agency regulations. Associate safety training and certification is provided upon hire and continues throughout employment with Stryker DES. Our site specific Health and Safety (HASP) and Work Plans are reinforced in daily morning safety meetings.

     

    Stryker DES is a pre-qualified contractor by Avetta, ISNetworld, Veriforce, Browz & is a member of the National Demolition Association.
